Urgent : For setting RTCCR register

Hi all,

I am using a MCF52213 microcontroller, I want implement a RTC module for that I am setting RTCCR register. When I read this register  it always display zero value.

Please help me to resolve this problem.

hi,

I not able set RTCCR register. In link u are you are tell about the secret bit  , I want to set this bit.

Actually I want to set RTCCR register but any value  I write in this register it always give me a zero value.This register is access in any supervisor mode as written in dataset of MCF52213. Is any special setting is required to write  this register ?

Hi

Have you first enabled the RTC by setting the enable bit (0x80) inthe RTCCTL register?

Do you also have a voltage connected to the Vbat pin?

A voltage connected to the Vstby and to RTC module we write in RTCCTL =0x80 but when we read this value itis also give zero.

We are also set other register of RTC module and read this registers, they all return zero value .

Coluld you please explain why we are not able to write into any regrister related to RTC ?
