TCP Client Abord-PowerOff Notification...

Hi all,

              I am using MCF52235 EVB on codewarrior environment.

              I am using uTaskser operating system.

              I have built up client server application.

              Problem is whenever client get shutdown in unusual way ( ie. Abort, Power off ) server not get

              notification that client is closed...which it get when we reset the board...

               Is anyone have any idea how to send notification to other board when any of two connected board get disconnected in unusual manner.

Hi,

To detect which client is disconnected, server have to send periodically message to test client, if client does not respond in time, the server can consider the client disconnected.
