MCF52233 Flash program utility for Windows 64 bit

I use the CF flasher (version 3.1.10) to program MCF52233 on Windows 7 ,32 bit which works fine.

The problem is that CF Flasher doesn't work on Windows 7 ,64 bit.

1. Are there any plans porting it for 64 bit ?

2.If the answer is no, I am interested in another simple utility for programming - for production purposes.

I am looking for a free one, since only basic features are needed (without mass production features).

Is there some free utility by Freescale to program/verify/erase the flash memory?

Thanks,

Gil

Using CF Flasher in a Windows 7 virtual machine (like in VMWARE Player) might help. It's what I do to keep using the legacy Codewarrior 7.2.2 which doesn't work in a 64bit environment either.

Henri Laidet (the chap who made the DigiButler project) made an equivalent to CF_Flasher that works with the TBLCF and OSBDM, not sure about the PE Multilink.  I haven't used it myself but it might be worth a shot.  You can get the source and binary here:

Two weeks and no response. I don't know anything about this, but it has been too long, so... My turn!

Type "64 bit" and "windows 7" into the Search Box and do some research on how long people have been asking these questions.

I think you have to dedicate a 32-bit computer as the one that has to be used to debug and program these chips. Just think of the whole computer as "a very large programming pod with a screen and keyboard". Then make sure you can clone/mirror it onto other hardware if it dies. You have to keep it/them alive for the duration of your production run and your customer support phase.
