Hello everybody,
When i use mcf52223 adc to do my work, i noticed that the "MCF52223 ColdFire® Integrated Microcontroller Reference Manual" page 25-33 tells the ADC clock is gated by ADC bit of SIM_PCE register of SIM module. But I can not find the description on SIM_PCE register. Is it an error or useless register. Does it affect the ADC operation?

From other Freescale manuals, I believe the register being described is:

Finally, the SIM_PCE register contains a bit per peripheral to enable clocking to that peripheral. This is useful for power management. These controls are referenced in peripheral-related restrictions later in this document.

Which would actually be the CDADC bit of PPMRH in the 52223 (section 6.2.1).  The clock is enabled (i.e., not disabled) by default.
