Assembly Style Coding

Hello there,

I use the MCF52221 in a MCF52221DEMO evb.
I would like to know if there is a way to write a code ONLY in assembly ( a simple program, didatic purpose only) WITHOUT using C. That is, I want to edit a code mycode.s (mycode.asm), and use the assembler directly, without compilation. I couldn't find such an option in CodeWarrior.
