MCF51jm32 problem

Hello ,

  I'm using for the current project a MCF51JM32 processor, I made the pcb  and when I apply the power supply to the board I observed that the reset pin from the processor it goes up and down it isn't stable I check every signal that arrive in the processor pin it it look OK and sincerely I really don't understand way it is going up and down  this pin. If u have any idea/ suggestion for my problem it will be great. .  tks.

I have seen this myself on a protoype PCB I was working on. I never did find the answer, however I did swap the processor for another and it worked fine. I guess something went wrong when it was put on the PCB (it was hand soldered).

I know that doesn't really help much but if you have a few proto PCB's and a spare CPU give it a shot.
