Linux on MCF5329

Hi,

We have a hardware with MCF5329.   I understnad that this processor is without MMU.

Considering this, is it possible to run latest linux latest linux (may be 4.4.x) on this processor?

OR

What is the latest version of Linux that we can run on MCF5329?

I could find available uCLinux for MCF5329 is quite old (released at 2008): 

Linux-2.6.26-uc0 kernel

Please visit here, customer could download related LTIB BSP and updated patch.

There are some source code in Linux Kernel 5.15.4 related to m53xx as shown in below link:

Does it mean that we can use Linux Kernel 5.15.4 for MCF5329?

Hi,

I could only confirm there with no official released LTIB(BSP) software package based on Linux Kernel 5.15.4.

You could have a try to check if that works or not.
