Hi Folks,
I am looking for tool that can upload my software to the onboard Flash like CF-Flasher.
But I can't use the Parallel or USB P&E Interface. I am using the Abatron BDI2000.
Can someone give me a hint, please?

Thanks

best regards
Dirk

I should have been more specific.  I meant what target are you
using?  Abatron already has Coldfire support for a lot of targets:

mcf5206.cfg    mcf5213.cfg  mcf5272.cfg  mcf5329.cfg  mcf5485_mmu.cfg
mcf5206e.cfg  mcf5249.cfg  mcf5282.cfg  mcf5407.cfg
mcf5208.cfg    mcf5271.cfg  mcf5307.cfg  mcf5485.cfg

I use the bdi2000 to write to flash on some of the newer targets
also:

mcf52277.cfg  mcf5253.cfg  mcf5373.cfg

Is your bdi setup for a Coldfire target?  If it is, then your need
to copy the correct config file and register file to a tftp exported
directory.  The manual that came with the bdi device has
instructions to do this.  There are also instructions for reading,
writing and erasing flash.

Hi again,

I'm using the MCF5234. A config-file exists and is loaded to the BDI via the BDI-Tool.
Via Telnet i can set the Flash to write-mode.
But I am missing something to transfer the file from my PC to the FLASH.

In my manual (V1.00)  I can't find anything for transfering data to the FLASH.
There is something on Section 5, but I don't have any IDE (like EDGE/ECLIPSE) or else on the PC which needs to flash my boards. So I am looking for a standalone solution.

Thanks a lot
