I have acquired some MC68000 64pin microprocessors.

Can anybody help with a test circuit for these, and perhaps any software needed to run the tests ?

Hi mimil,

To help you, we need at least the following info:
Which tests are you talking about ?
What is the exact reference of the microprocessor (markings on it) ?

Cheers,
Alban.

 Hi Alban,

I have a number of them with different markings. Two of them are 10 MHz types, marked as follows,

MC68000P10
2C91E
OEBV9214

As far as tests are concerned, I just want to make sure they are working ok.

Hi,

Looking round, I found these documents.
The MCU is older than I am :smileytongue:

The Freescale Hibbert website is quite good to find old datasheet and all.

Semiconductors have a shelf life. If yours were not kept in a moist free bag, it would affect their life span.
Also, I can only recommend to change to a newer generation if you can. Especially with the free sample programme, you don't have to pay !

Cheers,
Alban.

Okay Alban,

I will have to test them for exposure to silica gell.
