Hello,
I'm using CW 10.1.3 for MC8156 SmartDSP.
While building a specific C file (size is ~45Kb) in optimization level 3, I've received the following error:
RA ERROR 2: Temporary spill variable spilled. PROCESS IS TERMINATED
What does it mean?

Can you give it a try with CodeWarrior for Starcore V10.1.5, which is available from our download page
There were a couple of these "RA ERROR 2: Temporary spill variable spilled" errors fixed in there.
If the issue is still present, please submit a service request at following URL:
https://www.freescale.com/webapp/servicerequest.create_SR.framework?regFlag=fromOpenSR
make sure to attach the preprocessor listing for the source file generating the issue as well as the command line options you are using to build.
