If you step over a function and the target doesn't stop (the CodeWarrior Debugger cannot read the PC) then this error is returned. A CodeWarrior CCS log could help tracking down this issue (in Project Settings, Remote Debugging panel, select Edit Connection and check Enable Logging).

This error is returned when loading the object file into mpc862 using PowerTAP Emulator.

Is the hardware bad? Or mpc862 is bad? Or BDM on mpc862 is bad?
