Hello

- Which CPU are you targeting (HC08, HC12, Coldfire, ..)
- Which version of CodeWarrior are you using?
To retrieve that info:
- Start CodeWarrior
- Select Help -> About Freescale CodeWarrior
- Click on "Install Products"
- CodeWarrior version used is displayed on top in the Installed Products dialog.

Hi,

I am using codewarrior IDE version 5.9.0.

using ppc8360 with e300c1 core.

I am using windows XP professional on my laptop

anyway, I succeeded to connect to the tap but I am facing new problems:

1. I am looking for an example suitable for ppc8360.

2. when trying loading an example to the board, I get the following message: "please check your JTAG clock speed"

3. what is the suitable .cfg script that I should use?

Thanks,

Amihay

Hi Amihay,

The "please check your JTAG clock speed" error tells me that you need to update your CodeWarrior for Power Arch software.  The IDE version 5.9.0 doesn't tell you the version of CodeWarrior you have, only the IDE version. Do this: In the CodeWarrior IDE go to Help->About->Installed Products and you'll see your CodeWarrior version.  If it's less than 8.8 CW PA you'll need to download and install the 8.8 CodeWarrior PA software followed by the 8.8.3 CW PA Update.  I hope this helps.

do you have see the 'usb tap users guide'?it maybe helpful to you.

you also can search 'usb tap' in 'Enter Keyword' in editbox at right-up on freescale homepage.

there will list some of documents about usb-tap.
