In our custom board using T1024 we are using XFP module. we performed the serdes validation using QCVS tool , BIST test is passing for digital loop back. and external loop back test also passing for test pattern HFTP and PRBS7 test patterns.
But while testing with data pattern HHFTP , in external loopback , with bits upto 4.10E+04 this test is passing. For above these bits CDR lock and BIST pattern sync are passing but showing some error count. what causes for this error count ?
Kindly suggest the test patterns to be used for evaluating the XFP interface.
