may be but I cannot garanty anything... That would require some effort on init file.... Plus the latest CW version does not support this HTI any longer... So I'll provide the same answer as to your other post.
CodeWarrior 5.6 is quiet old, the current version is CodeWarrior Power Architecture v8.7.
WireTAP is not supported in the recent CW versions so I would highly recommand to switch to both CW v8.7 and USB-TAP if you want to develop smoothly on your MPC8548E board.
