Could wiretap support MPC8548E

I used to develop MPC8540 with wiretap under Codewarrior V5.6 and now I am developing MPC8548E,Could anyone tell me whether wiretap could support MPC8548E and must I buy

a usb tap?

Hi there,

CodeWarrior 5.6 is quiet old, the current version is CodeWarrior Power Architecture v8.7.
WireTAP is not supported in the recent CW versions so I would highly recommand to switch to both CW v8.7 and USB-TAP if you want to develop smoothly on your MPC8548E board.
