ELF Loader write protected error

Hi,

I'm having trouble flashing projects to an MCF51QE128 using CW version 6.3 that have something like variables declared at address range 0x3fe-0x407. An error box pops up with a title of "Elf Loader" and a message saying:

"Error while writing to 0x3FE...5FE.

 Information: Write protected."

This address range includes NV storage for FTRIM, ICSTRM, and the backdoor comparison key. Any ideas on whats wrong?

I also am having the same problem with a HC9S08AC part. There have been not problems, but yesterday I had this problem. It seems like it lost the path to the BIN folder.

I looked on a Crassy Cat forum that said to create a new project. Then put all of your files into the new project.  I tried it, and it worked. I would like to know how to repair the project instead of recreating it.
