Codewarrior installation on Windows 7

Dear Freescale,

I've been running Codewarrior with no problems for the last 3 years or so, using Windows XP. I have a dongle.

My system has been upgraded and I am now using windows 7. I initially tried to install the software, but this failed on the install. I then installed Windows 7 ultimate and tried again in XP mode.

The installation worked ok, and the dongle software installed ok (HASP). The FlexLM can detect when the dongle is installed.

When I run the diagnostics for the FlexLM, the message "Terminal Server remote client not allowed" is appearing.

When I run the codewarrior I also get the same message.

Please could you suggest what I am doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I use CW6.2 in Win7RC too. They(v7.1 and v6.2) are both unstable(crash often) but usable.

Regards,

Max.

Hi,

I'm using  win7rc with code warrior 7.1 for weeks. It seems no problem of this.

You can try to run the installer as administrator.

Regards,

Max.
