Hello,

can anyone please tell me in detail how the PLL is enabled ,what and how are the calculations for the clock done?

I want to write a program using interrupts to measure the frequency of an input signal where modules like PLL, ECT are to be used. What kind of interrupt would it be like?

As this is a hardware related question you should be posting in the appropriate hardware forum.

Also which device are you using? They vary a great deal in terms of the PLL.

I am using a Demokit of SK-S12XDP512A from HCS12X (Softech)

I am asked to measure the parameters of an input signal from a function generator..

but where do i actually see the output?
