Lockup with CW3.1 for HS08

I am using a standard registered version of CW 3.1 for HCS08.

When using it the program will lock up completely, usually after a few minutes.

This happens even when just browsing code.  It happens pretty much every time

I use CW.  I am running Win XP SP1, but could possibly get SP2 installed if it may help.

Are you using a firewall? That's been known to cause some problems, particularly if you're using a floating license. Also, go to the bottom of this Web page, and try entering the search string "Codewarrior hang" (no quotes), and examine some of the threads on this subject.

I had similar trouble on CW 4.5 for S12 which disappeared when I re-installed Symantec Anti-Virus.
