ICD12 does not show USB for P&E USB-ML

Hello,

I am using CW 3.1

I have applied patch  CW12_V3_1_ICD12_USB2_0_Sim_patch.exe

Checking with device manager, I can see the driver correctly installed for USB-ML-12 Rev C

Using hiwave, I can see the following license info:

HI404000 (metrowks, 2.000): HI-WAVE Engine (Single User License, DISK: 7842c6cb, registered)
HI491000 (metrowks, 2.000): Flash Programming Support (Single User License, DISK: 7842c6cb, registered)
HI407238 (metrowks, 3.100): HC12 P&E ICD Target (Single User License, DISK: 7842c6cb, registered)

But in the ICD-12 menu, the Connect menu only shows LPT1 and COM1, but not USB

and therefore fails to connect to the target.

Does it strike a cord to anybody?

Hello

Any reason why you could not upgrade to the latest release of CodeWarrior for HC12?

P&E USB-ML is supported directly out of the box there.
