I have installed two versions of CW 5.1 and 6.2. In CW6.2...

I have installed two versions of CW 5.1 and 6.2.

In CW6.2 I am not able to communcate with ucontroller (in this case (9S08GT16) I received an error 'Can not enter background mode00' but the same project in CW5.1 works.

The version of debuger for CW5.1 is 6.1 build 6124 and for CW6.2 is 6.1 build 8127.

Do I need to make any special setting for debuger?

Try comparing the debugger settings panels between v5.1 and v6.2 and see what settings are different.

I  haven’t notice any significant  differences in the settings between them.

Only  connection manager differs from each other.

The first one is ICD – Connection Manager from CW5.1 and the second one is PEMICRO Connection Manager and additionally it has an option Trim Control.

 Both connection manager auto-detects the port, in this case DEMOQE and under Target CPU auto-detects HCS08 Processor and a reset line High but in PEMICRO is missing information of CPU Voltage. See attached user interface of both connection managers.

Hello bumar,

Are you using the DEMOQE board to communicate to another processor not mounted on the demoboard?
Or are you simply using a QE processor on the supplied daughter card?
In the first case you may be running in to the problem where this has been deliberately crippled from doing so in CW6.2.

You may be able to follow this thread to re-instate this functionality.
