HCS08 C: What are Profile Analysis and Code Coverage?

I nearly finish the project. Now I'm testing and testing... I wonder the test ability of CW. There are two feature of CW. Profile Analysis and Code Coverage. I don't know anything about these analysis technics.

What do they provide me to test my codes?

Neither Profiler nor CodeCoverage can be used on HCS08 hardware board.

If you are looking for profiling or Coverage information you may want to look into emulator supporting HCS08 CPUs.
