I am trying to install the FlexLM on a windows XP SP2 machine. I downloaded the installers from the freescale website. I am getting a "Component Transfer Error". But I am able to install the same on different machines with the same OS.
Thanks for the help,

Hello
I did browse around in google and found an interesting article from Microsoft Help & Support.
Look at following URL:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;898628
It looks like you need to install Windows Installer 3.1 (v2)

Hello
Which version of Windows Installer are you running?
To retrieve that information:
- From et Start menu select Run
- Enter the command msiexec and press OK
A window will be opened showing the Windows Installer version number.
