Debugging attempt: Error in services launch sequence

Hi guys.

I am trying to debug a KSDK example application on  FRDM-KL02Z, but after building the project,the problem occured,just like this window:

 

please someone  help me to figure this problem,Im a new man.

Dear all,

I have the exactly same problem, exactly the same board and have tried exactly the same example..

It is extremely frustrating that there is so few error details and still no solution!

Operating System:

Win 8.1 Pro

Kinetis SDK 1.3.0

KDS 3.0.0.

Tried reinstalling PE driver, can see it in Device Manager, cannot see it in the Debug Configuration (see pictures). Tried to run dummy sample that was suggested above.. No results, same error.

Hello,

if there is nothing listed in the 'Port' settings, that means no debug drivers are found or present.

About drivers: see here: Fixing the USB Drivers | MCU on Eclipse

From your PE hardware information, it seem that you have not loaded the debug OpenSDA firmware on the board?

Are you sure you have loaded the correct debug firmware? Note that if you have received a board from the factory, then you need a Windows 7 machine to update the bootloader and to load the debug firmware (you cannot do this with a Windows 8 machine).

thanks for your help,but it didn't work.

I remember that I met another situation when I was installing KSDK 1.3.0 Eclipse Update.

I choosed OK button and continue to install it. Then debugging attempt failed, it may caused by this warning (I guess!)

In fact ,I still can't figure it out. I mean,I did every single step according to

FRDM-KL02Z: Freescale Freedom Development Platform for the Kinetis KL02 Family/Get Started

on freescale website.

Have you tried reinstalling the P&E drivers?

Go to the folder C:\Freescale\KDS_3.0.0\pemicro and there you will find the P&E drivers installer:

then another problem occurred at 95% launching the debug session,here is screenchop:

Hi,

Some questions:

    What is the OS used ?

    What is the KDS and KSDK version used ?

To check your hardware configuration I recommend you to create an example with the Project Wizard without KSDK and PEx.

Can you try this sample example ?

hey Pascal,

my PC‘s OS is windows8 and KSDK version is 1.3.0 and KDS version is 3.0.0

Im sure there is no problem with version,cause I did every step from

on freescale website.

Hi,

This morning I've installed KDSV3.0.0 on Win 8.1 64 bit OS.

Only KDS was installed for this test.

My config is:

    Win 7 64 bit

    VirtualBox + Win 8.1 64 bit

    KDS v3.0.0

    FRDM-K64F

Based on this configuration, after to have connected the Device to Win 8.1 64bit, I've created an example using KDS V3.0.0 only for this board.

After to build the project I launch the debug session selecting the  Debug_PNE.

Now the application is loaded fine on my board.

don't know if this can help but ...

Can you just check if a very sample project created with the wizard ?

Just an example without KSDK or PEx to check if there is a problem with KDS and the board.

What is the connection type you're using ?
