Is CodeWarriror HC(S)08 V3.1 Special Edition still available for download?  I am unable to find it.  I've recently joined a project where all of the developers are using that version and I would like to as well.

Hello,

Special Edition is the Free one.
Therefore I don't see any special reason to keep using the CW08 3.1.

If you explain why you cannot upgrade to the also free but richer featured CWMCU 6.0, I may be able to find a download for you.

Since other members of the project are using 3.1, I wanted to as well so that I could share project files back and forth with them.  Since I am the newcomer to their development I didn't want to be a disruption, and it appeared they could not load "project" files that I created with a newer version.

I put the file available on my personal server especially for you. It should be uploaded at 11pm GMT+1.
As you did not put the targeted MCU (a basic required info) I could not put any patch. They should be available from CodeWarrior website or via the updater.

CW 3.1 is no longer available, but you can download CW for MCU V6.0 Special edition (support for HC(S)08 family and coldfire V1).
