CodeWarrior Not working

I recently receved a BeeKit with 2 SRB boards and 1 NRB. When using CodeWarrior HC(S)08 V.5.1 to load applications, I get completely illogical behaviour: whenever i press on the "open" icon (or the menu option), or "import project" (or many others), CodeWarrior simply shuts down as if i had pressed on close or exit. I get no warning or error messages. I downloaded and installed all the updates. I tried removing and reinstalling the application. Nothing.

can anyone help me with this?

If this is this bug, there is also a workaround. I still wonder why I do not have this problem, it works fine for me.
