Hello all,

is the CodeWarrior linux edition working with the Coldfire 5213? I want to make a new project for the 5213 but i cant find the coldfire templates.

Which CodeWarrior Linux Product did you install?

Are you using

"CodeWarrior™ Development Studio for Power Architecture™ Processors, Linux Application Edition"
"CodeWarrior™ Development Studio for Power Architecture™ Processors, Linux Platform Edition"

These products are for MPC targets only.

Hello

As far as CodeWarrior Linux edition is concerned, there are two editions available.

  - Application Edition. This one allows you to develop applications running on top of an embedded Linux.

  - Platform edition: This one allows you to debug the kernel itself and also includes features from the

     Application edition.

Basic Requirement is that you have an embedded Linux kernel running on your target board.

Note that they do not work with ucLinux kernel.

What kind of BSP do you have running on your board?

If you go to the CodeWarrior For ColdFire Linux Edition web page, you find the

"CodeWarrior Development Studio for ColdFire Architectures, Linux Edition Targeting Manual".

This manual should also be part of your installation layout.

In Chapter "Introduction" there is a section "Supported Target Boards" describing which boards are supported by the version.
