Can Code Warrior IDE version 10.6 be installed in ubuntu?

I would like to know if the Code Warrior IDE can be installed in ubuntu 14.04. ?

I cannot find any supported downloads for ubuntu. Could anyone please post the link.

Hi Dino,

The last CodeWarrior version supported in Linux was CodeWarrior 10.2, it can be downloaded from the following page and it supports Ubuntu 10.04:

I am using freescale kinetis TRK-KEA128 MCU. I believe Code warrior v10.2 does not support that  MCU.

Is there any other alternative solution other than using windows?

KEA series are supported from CodeWarrior v10.6.

For an IDE supporting Linux OS, you may choose KDS:

Hi Fiona Kuang,

I have installed KDS, but unfortunately I cannot install KSDK since it doesn't support my evaluation board TRK-KEA128. After using KDS, I have some difficulty in debugging,

1. I cannot see any printf statements in the console.

2. I observed that the interrupt vector number for many peripherals are different when compared with Codewarrior (SKEAZ1284.h)

3. Also the KDS doesn't support my board therefore I created project by selecting the processor unlike the board in Code-warrior. But I feel something is not correct.

Could you please share a working project for TRK-KEA128, so that I can start working on my application.Or Could you please direct me to respective section.

Please take a look to the following post that explains how to enable semihosting in KDS. About the working projects, there are some CodeWarrior projects you can use as reference and a document explaining these example projects:
