Ok then how about this error.

Error starting external debugger.  Process Error Code 87 (0x57)
The parameter is incorrect.

Is there a work around for this?

That problem has been fixed in CW for MCU's 6.0 (HC08) but not in the last released version for the HC12 (4.6) yet :smileysad:.
The problem is "just" when it tries to launch the external debugger hiwave.exe from within the ide.
A possible workaround would be to start hiwave.exe externally, see the arguments in the ide how hiwave is called, or start hiwave via explorer, load the *.ini as configuration and flash the *.abs explicitely.

Hi,

is this problem fixed allready?

I can start my debugger once,...
Than when i try it again it gives me that error code...

Try using 4.7.
I assume this version addresses it, however I don't have vista or 4.7, so I cannot verify.
But I'm pretty sure this issue is fixed in 4.7.
