I find the UI terribly non-user friendly.  I can't seem to do the simple task of flashing and debugging a S08 project with my P&E usb multilink (rev c, v5.84).  I did manage to initially flash and debug after dealing with a 'launch' issue (?), but I cannot flash the mcu again.  The error message I get is...

Error creating session: The CodeWarrior debugger does not have a Machine object that supports the executable.; Internal Error
The CodeWarrior debugger does not have a Machine object that supports the executable.; Internal Error

I haven't a clue what this means.

Nevermind - I've gone back to the 'just works' classic 6.3 solution.  The UI may not be sexy but it is more intuitive.

Please unmark your last reply as the solution.

Going back to an older version, which by the way can't run on 64-bit windows, is NOT a solution the problem you described. I have the exact same problem.

I hate the error messages in eclipse. They are almost always a worthless pile of fancy words which gives no help at all.

"...CodeWarrior debugger does not have a Machine object that supports the executable"

This happened to me right after I ran a utility to delete all unused FTDI virtual com ports.  All the FTDI devices still work fine, but it seems that the PE Micro USB Multilink Interface doesn't want to play anymore.

Amen to the note on eclipse error messages.  Most of them look like a random selection of English words thrown together with no intention of saying anything.  I guess this is what we get for allowing large corporations to use labor in non-English speaking countries instead of good old American engineers (a lot of whom are unemployed these days).

Does anyone from Freescale ever monitor these forums?  Does anyone know how to fix this problem?  In English?

It sounds like that utility might have deleted the Jungo driver, which the P&E mulitlink requires to function. Try checking this forum https://community.freescale.com/message/93204#93204 for how to fix this problem.
