I downloaded the tar archive "CodeWarrior Development Studio for StarCore 3900FP DSP v10.9.0 - Linux.tgz" and extracted it to a directory, but there appears to be no IDE in the archive, and no installation instructions except for the "SC_compiler_linux_v24_07_01_013_3900.README.txt" file, which refers to this release as a patch. Should the contents of this directory tree be somehow plugged in to an existing eclipse installation? If so, what is the procedure for doing this?

Hello Ken Lauffenburger,
No need to install, use this from command line, as describe in the readme file.
See more detail in the scc options.
By the way, you'll need license to use this.
Have a great day,
Lunmin
