Variables when debugging assembly code.

I am using CodeWarrior V10.7. I am using pure assembly language code for MC56F84763. While debugging, is there a way to watch my variables? Can I add them to the Expressions window? If yes, how exactly should I declare them? I cannot find a way for the debugger to recognize them.

Since it’s been already a week, I wondered if there is any word from your engineers if the V10.7 Metrowerks allows us to watch our variables when the project is only in assembly language?
