Questions about Codewarrior update Installation

I have looked everywhere but i have not found which folder to copy the "General Update: CW MCU v10.6 General Update v1.0.0.zip, "General Update: CW MCU v10.6 General Update v2.0.0.zip" and "General Update: CW MCU v10.6 General Update v3.0.0.zip". The exact process to install these files for a newbie is nowhere documented. Do i need to do anything besides copying to a folder. It does say that before i install the Service packs the general update needs to be installed.
