I am trying to evaluate the Codewarrior 10.5 (never used it before). I installed it on my computer and trying to create a new project with Project Wizard, but when I get to select the board, there is nothing displayed in the window. In the directory C:\Freescale\CW MCU v10.5\MCU\lib\wizard_data I have a lot of xml files, but no board shows up in the Wizard. Am I doing anything wrong? How could I get the boards to appear in Project Wizard?
Please, note that this happens when I try to create a MQX project, it shows board when I select a Bareboard Project
Thanks,
Adrian
I do have MQX installed and as I said I already have the folder C:\Freescale\CW MCU v10.5\MCU\lib\wizard_data filled with plenty ox xml files. But they simple don't show in the wizard. Adding another board to that collection, won't help.I can see some boards if I try a MQX Lite project, but not for a MQX 4.0 project
This is exactly what I mean! There is nothing in that field where you show a list of boards. I did uninstall and reinstall without any improvement.
Hi Adrian,
I'm sorry, the problem still seems a install problem.
could you please try to re-install the latest MQX in the default place (C:\Freescale\Freescale_MQX_4_0).
and then, re-launch the CW.
if the problem still remains, then, I'm afraid you have to re-install your PC.
I'm so sorry!
Could be because I'm running Windows XP?

Hi Adrian, did you resolve this issue? I have had a similar problem with MQX4.1. With 4.0.1 I was able to see the boards in the wizard, but with 4.1, I don't even see "New MQX Project", only "New MQX-Lite Project" is available.
Thanks
Freescale MQX only supports several Freescale demo board. not all the Freescale board.
this is documented in MQX4.0 release note: 1.1.3 Target Requirements
see attached.
if user uses other board, he has to port the code to other code by oneself.

Jennie,
Did you understand my question?
I can see that it supports only several boards (and my board happens to be among them), but I would like to see at least one in the wizard, or, let me somehow to create a new project. I am blocked at this step where is nothing to select!
