Hello,

I use the MC56F8355MFGE DSP. I program it with the 56800E Flash Programmer.

A DSP with 1628 datecode is ok after programming.

A DSP with 1843 datecode doesn't start after programming.

The checksum for both is the same.

Have you a idea for this problem ?

Thank you in advanced

Best regards

Christophe

Hi, Christophe,

Regarding the difference between date code 1628 and 1843, frankly speaking, I do not know.

If you use CodeWarrior for DSP56800E ver8.3 or CodeWarrior for MCU ver11.x to download code to flash, is the MC56F8355 okay or not?

If the MC56F8355 for date code 1843 can not work with the CW tools, I suppose that the FAE has to be involved and failure analysis is required.

Hi Xiangjun,

I tried to use the debugger Code Warrior V7.0 and the DSP started but when I disconnected the Code Warrior Probe, the DSP stopped.

I think that the program is running with the memory in the CW probe and not with the Flash inside the DSP ?

What do you think about that ?

Best regards

Christophe

Hi, Christophe,

Pls check the project when you download application, make sure the project is based on flash instead of RAM. Secondly, pls check the Reset circuit, sure that the Reset is high after power up.
