Hi，

MC56F84789 uses jtag  for on chip emulation and download.

while for MC56F84789, some jtag pin is multiplexed with GPIO. see datasheet, page 17,18.

if you defile the related jtag pin as GPIO, the jtag feature can not work  normal.
