GCC or Freescale for C++

Hello All,

We are porting an older CW7.1 project to CW10.5 from a Coldfire controller to Kinetis - CortexM4. While doing so, there is an option to select the Toolchain. Considering a C++ application of 3-4 MB size, which toolchain would be better in terms of reliability, stability, support etc - Freescale or GCC - in a long run?
