Error try to connect to board mpc5634M using codewarrior

'm trying to download program using the program cw_progppcnexus.exe i encounter "Cannot enter background mode." What should i do

First, please check how the J1 and J5 jumpers are set on TRKMPC5634M. if SBC_5V is selected then J5 (Vsup) should be closed to enter SBC chip into debug state.

If the issue still exists, try to uninstall the P&E USB multilink drivers (Device Manager, Jungo-> USB Multilink 2.0) and connect P&E USB multilink to the PC and let install driver again.
