CodeWarrior 5.9.0, build 5294, stopped working unexpectedly for no apparent reason on my Windows 7 Ultimate, Service Pack 1 computer.  Now when I try to open the program I get an error message that says, “The license file (license.dat) has the wrong line-endings for this platform.”  What does this mean?  How can I fix this?  I don’t want to upgrade to the current version of CodeWarrior because it doesn’t support my MC9S12 porject.

From your description of the error message, the problem is probably in license side.

Because license involves your personal asset, I suggest you create a private ticket  via

with your license attached.
