Code Warrior Compatability

Hi Everyone,

Does anybody know if there is any license for CodeWarrior IDE Version 4.1? I know the CW version is really old. But just hoping if someone has the license for it.

Also, I have another question. I have been using the MC from MMC2114 family. I am currently using MMC2114CFCAF33 and I have a binary code which is burnt onto the IC. If I burn the same binary code onto a different IC from same family, with all the same specification for ex(MMC2114CFCAG33) will it still work? Please note the number of pins is different in both cases. But all the remaining specs are the same.

Hi Shahasan,

officially Freescale doesn't have license download for CW4.1.

I suggest you create a service request to Freescale support license team to see if you can get an CW4.1 evaluation license.

which chip do you work with? Freescale has CW for HCS12 v5.1 that covers HC(s)12(X) family.
