Hi, DeLiang,

I think the main task is to download code to flash of MC56F8013.

As you know that the CodeWarrior for DSP56800E ver8.x has issue on the Windows 10 64 bits OS, so I suggest you download the CodeWarrior for mcu ver11.1 from the link, which support MC56F8013(DSP56800E core).

https://www.nxp.com/design/software/development-software/codewarrior-development-tools/codewarrior-l...

Pls try to create a new project and download to flash based on  CodeWarrior for mcu ver11.1 tools and usbtap device.

BTW, I do not know if it is USBTAP device issue. There is third party Multilink Universal device which support MC56F80xx based on only CodeWarrior for mcu tools. You can order one to have a try.

Hope it can help you

Hi, Deliang,

If both the CodeWarrior for DSP56800E ver8.3 and 56F800E Flash Programing tools can not program the on-chip flash of MC56F8013, maybe the MC56F8013 broke down, pls try to change another board.

Hi Xiangjun,

We tried several DSP, the failure mode is the same.

Core not responding.

As mentioned, we can erase the "old SW" but cannot write a new one. That

will be a big issue for us.

Count on you.

Thanks

Hi, DeLiang,

Can you tell us the part number you are using?

I suppose that you use USBTAP device, if you use CodeWarrior for DSP56800E ver8.3 tools to download and debug code, is it okay?

Dear Xiang Jun,

Yes, I used USPTAP, and DSP56800E ver8.3 tools. I can erase the device but

cannot write the SW.

As I verify the device, there is no more SW.

My system is Windows 7, 32 bits. I tried another computer with Windows XP.

The error is the same :

Hope you can help me.

Thanks

Hi, DeLiang,

What is the part number you are using? The "56800E flash programmer" can NOT program DSP56800 processor for example DSP56F801/803/805/807/826/827.
