tool chain error

I'm trying to import exiting .mcp project file (demo project given by freescale).

its giving the "this tool chain is not supported for this target" error.

what could be the issue???

Hi,

This feature is supporting DSC project only.

For other devices, you can not use it.

Application note to import classic project under Eclipse

There are 2 ANs explaining the process depending of the architecture used.

Hi pascal

What all software's are required to configure twr-lcd (without LCDC controller).

I'm using bareboard project without processor-expert and trying to use LCD via flexbus  but its not working.

can you help me in this ,i want to display some alapha-numeric characters on screen.

Ankur,

I don't have practice with this TWR-LCD module but most of the time a CD or other quick manual is delivered inside the package.

According to the web info the Kit Contains

• TWR-LCD module
• Necessary cables
• DVD with demo projects, software, training and collateral
• Quick Start Guide document

Most of examples are based on Processor Expert.

I recommend to have a look to the link:

          Graphical LCD Tower System Module|Freescale

The examples could be dedicated to a processor.

The advantage of Processor Expert is you can change the processor.

Hi Ankur,

Sorry for the delay I was in vacation last week.

You can import a project in a workspace via the  menu:

    File + Import...

          General + Existing Projects Into Workspace

              you can select the project you want and recommend to select the option" Copy projects into workspace" to have all files under your workspace.
