"Internal error: DoSuspend" message

Hi, dear all,

I have a question on CW debugging.
While debugging under CW, sometimes my program gets "frozen", i.e., it stops execution but not return. Pressing "break" botton gives me following message:
Internal error: DoSuspend
Thread error

Could someone give me a hint what may cause this problem? Thanks in advance.

Hello

  Which CPU are you targeting (HC08, HC12, Coldfire, ...)?

  Which version of CodeWarrior are you using ?

    To retrieve that info:

      - Start IDE

      - Select Help -> "About Freescale CodeWarrior"

      - Press on "Installed Products"

      - You will see CodeWarrior version info into the title bar.

  Which cable are you using to connect to your target board( Multilink, USBTAP, ...)?

I'm using MSC8122 DSP and using USBTAP to connect to the board.
The CodeWarrior version is:
CodeWarrior StarCore Compiler (Windows), Engineering Build 18
CodeWarrior Development Studio for Freescale StarCore DSP Architectures, Version 2.7.2, Update Build 2
IDE Version: 5.7.0 Build 1996

Only case I get this message was when I was using a wrong register configuration file in my project.

Make sure the configuration file you use in the SC100 Debugger Target panel is correct.

If this does not help, I would recommend you to submit a service request through our web page to get support people get a look at it.

Specify board, CodeWarrior version and connection you are using when submitting the SR..
