Upgrading Codewarrier for the S12(X) Version 5.1 to Basic License

I've been doing a project with the Codewarrier for S12(X) Verion 5.1 Build 10221 and have reached the 32K code limit.

It seems nowadays that any sort of program upgrade comes with weeks of grief resulting in productivity loss and problems.  I would almost rather cut back on some diagnostic code than take the risk that my project suddenly stops working.

The processor is a M9S12XDP512 so it's got lots of flash.  I am running under WIN7 and using the P&E Multilink Universal FX programming tools.

The Basic License is availalble as a yearly and perpetual.

What happens at the end of the year?

Does it stop working or become a 32K code limited version again?

Or is it just the support that stops at the end of the year?

if you choose perpetural, you can use it for v5.1 for ever.

if you choose annual subscrib verion, the CW will stop  work at the end of the year. if you still need 32k limit version. you can install your special edition license to CW. as special edition license is free, you can use it anytime.

Hope it helps.
