Problem in installing Codewarrior 10.0 Special Edition on windows XP SP3

The setup file "CW_MCU_v10.0_Windows_SE.exe" downloaded from the Freescale website, during installation halts giving error message "Error decompressing data! Corrupted installer?" while installing file "C:\Program Files\Freescale\CW MCU v10.0\MCU\Help\PDF\Profiling and Analysis Users Guide.pdf".

Then in second attempt i deselected documentation then installation stopped at file "C:\Program Files\Freescale\CW MCU v10.0\analysis\1.1.0\lib\host\vendor\win\omniOrb-4.0.7\OpenSSL.zip"

Once again i deselected CodeSoucery option and again installation stopped at file "C:\Program Files\Freescale\CW MCU v10.0\analysis\1.1.0\lib\host\vendor\win\omniOrb-4.0.7\OpenSSL.zip".

 Is there some pre-requisites for installation of Codewarrior 10.0 Special Edition ?

Is that 32-bit Win XP or 64-bit Win XP? Installations on 64-bit OSes are tricky. You can search some of the topics that discuss how to do this. I have set such topics to "float" to the top of the board so that you can find them easily.

The OS on which i have tried installing is 32-Bit WIN XP.

It looks like you have a corrupt download file. I would suggest that you file a service request for this. Click here to do that.
