Error message when generating S-records for MC56F8345 with CW 56800/E v7.3

I built a fw project for mc56f8345 with codewarrior for 56800/E v7.3 and tried to download generated S-Record file into dsp's flash memory with parallel flash programmer, this error message popped our saying:

"CHawkV2::VirtualImage::LoadFile: S-Record data must be given in whole WORDS"

I am sure I selected the combined .elf.s file instead of .elf.p.s or .elf.x.s. Another fact may be interseting: I can successfully download the generated .elf file. Do you have any suggestion what may cause this issue?

I never heard similar problem with the DSP 7.3.

Can I suggest you to try with the DSC 8.0 ?

The Special edition license is installed by default.
If you need another version of the license please contact your local distributor.
You can have several versions installed on the same PC.
There is only one restriction: install them on separate folder.

The DSC 8.1is a patch for the DSC8.0 (must be installed in first)
