Code warrier crashes

When ever I need to access a Windows file screen ie Open save as add a file to project etc code worrier crashes. This has only started happening to day after crashing when trying to chage coplier programmer for eval board to pe micro programmer. Have got that working by creating a new project. Bout cant add any code to project. Have tried reinstalling CW but no change. Has anybody come accross this and how do I fix it. with out deleting dir of machine and starting all over again. I are running on a XP operating sys.

The crash whenever you open the windows file browse dialog description sound like the compatibility issue of MS Groove 2007 with the Win2000 mode of XP.
