The Code Warrior 5.1 HC12 installation crashes every time in my Windows XP SP3 environment.
The problem seems to be related to an access violation of msiexec.exe.
Is there some know issue?

we have met similar issue as yours the problem is due to bad CW install software. pleasee download CW5.1 from this link then install again/http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/overview.jsp?code=CW_SPECIALEDITIONS
please make sure you have your computer admin right.
during install, please disable all your virus defender and firework.
