CW7 56800/E - External cristal does not work

Hi,
I've got a problem with the setting of the external cristal in a CodeWarrior-project (7.0) for 56800/E Hybrid Controllers. I'm using the Freescale development board MC56F8323EVM with processor expert. I programmed a application with a timer interrupt (1ms). A counter counts until 250 and then it changes a GPIO-Pin -> blinking LED. Anyway, if I set the Clock source to On-chip relaxations oscillator and afterwards try to debug the project, it behaves normaly. When I set the Clock source to External crystal and try to debug the project, it does'nt stop on entry point and the LED does'nt blink anymore!?

Regards
Dittmar L.

Hi Pascal,

I received the email, but it did'nt help me, because I'm using the Processor Expert and the example that the engineer mentioned is working without the Processor Expert... and I'm not so confirm to read a Linker command file.

My email adress is Dittmar.Lange@eu.wackergroup.com

Dittmar

Hi,

Thanks for the details.
I will change the email address in the CRM system and send your feedback to my colleague Scott Mauer.
You will receive an answer asap.

When we sent an email (answer to a customer), the SR is placed in Customer Reply Period.
If we don't receive feedback from the customer side, the issue was answered on our side and the SR is automatically closed after 7 days.
In all case the feedback you received doesn't answer your problem, reply to the email sent with your comments.
Automatically the SR will be re-opened.

Hi Pascal,

many thanks - you destroyed my Freescale account! Until yesterday I had several Service Requests and two different CodeWarrior Licences. Today my account is empty, except for the request I send today and the Licence, that I registered yesterday!

Could you to reverse this, PLEASE!

Regards
Dittmar Lange

Hello Dittmar,

To avoid receiving SPAM and abuse from other like minded people, please do not post your email address in the Forum.
You can send it via Private Message though.

To do so, click on the screen name of the person you want to send a message to.
Then click on send this user a private message.
NOTE: this opens a pop-up window with the forum messenger. Make sure that pop-ups from forums.freescale.com are authorized.

You can consult actions on your Service Request and see the message which was sent to you on the 3rd April by the Freescale Agent at the following link. (if it was sent properly by the Agent).
View/Update Existing Service Request

Pascal,
Note that you can have the email address from the Service Request itself in the Contact.

Kind Regards,
Alban.
