I am using the Codewarrior special edition software at home. At school our lab computers also have the special edition software installed. It may not be the exact same version.

In my project at home I added over 32 files to a single target and Codewarrior compiles without warning. When I move the exact same project to school, I get an error message indicating that Codewarrior won't compile more than 32 files per target.

Why would it work on one version and not on the other? Is there anything I can do BESIDES merging files or re-installing Codewarrior at school (which I haven't the permission to do).

Thanks.

Hello,

after installing CW, you have the Test Version for I thik 60 Days. After that time it falls back to the Special version. The test version does not have the restrictions of the special version. Maybe this explains the behavior of your different CW installations.

What version of CodeWarrior are you using at home? (Help > About Freescale CodeWarrior > Installed Products). What is the processor target?

Same question for the school product: What is the version and target?
